House rules and policies

These are the house rules for 270 Winchester Lane. Please read them before you book.

Check-in and check-out

• Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at noon.
• Self check-in by keypad. The host sends instructions before arrival.

Pets, smoking and events

• No pets.
• No smoking indoors. Smoking is allowed outside only.
• No events.
• Children and infants are welcome. Children must be supervised near the pond.

House rules

• Guest capacity is a maximum of six. RVs, campers, and tents are not allowed. We are happy to make recommendations of a campground to use should you need to find accommodations for additional guests!
• Please remove your shoes upon entering the house.
• All guest vehicles and trailers must be parked/kept on the property in the gravelled areas.
• Any outdoor fires must be extinguished by 11pm.
• Fireworks are not allowed other than on July 4th, with proper permits. Be mindful of the current fire risk levels, posted publicly by the DNR.
• Fully extinguish any outdoor fires before retiring for the day/evening. No fires allowed other than those in the outdoor fire pit and grill. Despite how green everything is, forest fires are a risk year-round!
• Garbage must be secured in the house.
• Smoking is only allowed outside. No cigarette butts are to be left anywhere but in a garbage receptacle.
• Enjoy the home as much as the owner does but treat it like your own. Enjoy the home, use what you need, but please leave things as you found them.

Cancellation policy

• Standard stays: Guests can cancel at least 24 hours before check-in for a full refund. If canceling after check-in, Host will receive 100% for each night the guest stays, plus one additional night.
• Long-term stays (28 nights or more): Guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in to receive a full refund.
