A Missouri farmhouse with its own stocked fishing pond
The farmhouse has its own private pond, about 1–2 acres, stocked with bass, crappie and catfish, and only farmhouse guests fish it, so you’ll have the pond to yourselves. Fishing poles, kid-size poles, tackle and lures are provided, so you can fish the day you arrive. All fishing is catch and release.

What’s biting: bass, crappie and catfish
- The pond is stocked with three kinds of fish: bass, crappie and catfish.
- Guests catch a good mix of all three.
- You fish from the open, mowed bank. There’s no dock or boat, so there’s room to cast.
