Private acreage and open views

  • Fields and sky all around.
  • The farmhouse is down a gravel country road. Groceries and gas are in Carrollton, about 15 minutes away.
  • Walk the mowed areas around the property, or sit out on the deck and take in the view.

“This place is a slice of heaven, with 360 degrees of beautiful views and 100 percent privacy.” (Guest, September 2025, Airbnb)

What you’ll hear (and what you won’t)

It’s the country, so it isn’t silent. Here’s what guests usually hear:

  • Birds and frogs
  • Coyotes calling some nights
  • A car or truck on the gravel road now and then
  • Farm machinery on nearby fields in season

You won’t hear city noise, and there are no neighbors in sight.

Sunsets, sunrises and stargazing

  • Both sunsets and sunrises are visible from the deck and yard.
  • On clear nights, the sky fills with stars.
  • Many evenings end at the fire pit. Fires must be out by 11 PM (see the house rules).

More to enjoy

The farmhouse also has its own stocked fishing pond, just for guests. Children must be supervised near the pond (open water, no lifeguard). For time away from the property, see walks, wildlife and open country nearby.

“Loved the private, peaceful location. What a great way to relax and enjoy nature.” (Guest, April 2026, Airbnb)
